Free USDA Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) Training
USDA Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) are a voluntary standard farmers can adhere to that certifies the quality and safety of their products. Many institutional customers and larger markets require their sources to be GAP certified. This training is free to all and will provide farmers with the education and materials to do a self evaluation of their agricultural practices. It will go over the importance of USDA Good Agricultural Practices, the audit process, and the benefits of a GAP audit. Farmers will leave with the training to pass a voluntary GAP audit.
